 Text of the act(Considered status of legislation: 1. April 2008)

Register

(1) Im Hinblick auf die wirksame Ausübung der Rechte aus dieser Verordnung durch die Bürger macht jedes Organ ein Dokumentenregister öffentlich zugänglich. Der Zugang zum Register sollte in elektronischer Form gewährt werden. Hinweise auf Dokumente werden unverzüglich in das Register aufgenommen.

(2) Das Register enthält für jedes Dokument eine Bezugsnummer (gegebenenfalls einschließlich der interinstitutionellen Bezugsnummer), den Gegenstand und/oder eine kurze Beschreibung des Inhalts des Dokuments sowie das Datum des Eingangs oder der Erstellung und der Aufnahme in das Register. Die Hinweise sind so abzufassen, dass der Schutz der in Artikel 4 aufgeführten Interessen nicht beeinträchtigt wird.

(3) Die Organe ergreifen unverzüglich die erforderlichen Maßnahmen zur Einrichtung eines Registers, das spätestens zum 3. Juni 2002 funktionsfähig ist.
